The Hymn of God's Word "To Bear Witness for God Is Man's Duty" | The Church of Almighty God
I
God bestows you with life; it's a gift you receive from Him. And so it's your duty to bear witness to Him. God gives you His glory, His life the Israelites didn't have. And so you must devote your life and youth to Him. You've got God's glory, so you must bear God's witness. It's ordained.
II
It's your good fortune to be given God's glory. And so it's your duty to testify to His glory. If you believe in God only to gain blessings, His work won't be meaningful, and you won't fulfill your duty. You've got God's glory, so you must bear God's witness. It's ordained.

Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God, the second coming of the Lord Jesus, Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God's work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

The Holy Spirit’s Dwelling Place
"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Every time the news programs report a story about vandalism at a church, believers cringe. It’s hard for us to bear the thought of anyone spray-painting graffiti on sanctuary walls or damaging the stained glass windows, let alone setting fire to a place of worship. It’s a desecration! The church is a sacred place.
I’m saddened by the fact that many Christians don’t have the same qualms when it comes to harming the temple of the Holy Spirit—their own bodies. Some put junk into their stomachs, their veins, or their lungs. Others wear themselves down under a weight of stress or exhaustion. Some folks justify these abuses as their right: It’s my body, I can do what I want. But that isn’t true.
First Corinthians 6 says that believers are the Lord’s possession (v. 19). He has fashioned these earthen vessels to serve Him and carry out the work He’s planned for us to accomplish. God created us with a mind, body, and spirit—of the three aspects, the body is the one that allows us to interact with our environment. People cannot reach their full potential while neglecting the proper care of their bodies. What good are education, talent, and gifts if we’re too tired or sick to complete tasks well?
Here in the world, we can do nothing apart from our physical body. Since it is the only one we’ll have in this life, we should do our best to keep it in good condition. Believersshould also recognize their responsibility to treat the earthly frame like the sacred and special dwelling place that it is.

1. The purpose of God’s judgement is to encourage man’s obedience; the purpose of God’s chastisement is to allow for man’s transformation. Though God’s work is for His management’s sake, none of what He does isn’t good to man. God wants the lands beyond Israel to obey as the Israelites did, to make them into real men, so that in the lands beyond Israel God’s foothold shall be gained. This is the management of God. It’s His work in the lands of the Gentiles.
2. Today, many people still don’t understand God’s management. It’s because their cares and desires are focused on the future they’ll acquire. No matter what God speaks, Him and His work they don’t seek. Man only thinks of tomorrow’s land. If this goes on, how will God’s work expand? How will the gospel spread the world? You must know when God’s work grows, you will be scattered far and wide. God will strike you, God will strike you, as Jehovah did with Israel tribes, so the gospel will spread the earth, God’s work to Gentile lands. Among young and old God’s name will expand, and from the mouths of all tribes shall God’s holy name be praised.
3. In the end times, in the final age, God’s name will be magnified among Gentile nations. The acts of God will be by Gentiles seen, and they’ll address Him as the Almighty, and thus His words shall one day soon come true. God will make man know true He is not only God of Israelites, but God of all Gentile nations too, and those accursed by Him. God will make every man see that the God of all creation is He. This is God’s greatest work, the purpose of His work in the end of days, and the only work He shall do at the end of days.

Meet Abrahim, a precious brother! Abrahim was able to tell me (Kelly) his testimony. He was "born a Muslim", his family told him, because they are all Muslims. Abrahim was never comfortable with Islam while growing up. Some years ago, he was able to leave his small village in Cambodia to come to the big city looking for work (Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia).
Arriving in the big city, Abrahim met a childhood friend who had become a Christian. His friend arranged for Abrahim to find a place to stay (he had no more money). The place that Abrahim was given to stay at was at a local church.
Gently, but firmly the Holy Spirit drew Abrahim to Jesus, as the Pastor of this church began to teach and disciple him.
Abrahim realized that he had found what he had been searching for: Jesus Christ! From this point on, Abrahim has been filled with a passion to see his family and Muslim friends come to know Jesus. He has been ridiculed, and outcast by many, but he never stops going back with the Gospel to anyone who will listen to him.
His heart is so tender for people to know Jesus, especially his Muslim family and friends, that it is hard to hold back your own tears as his eyes well up with tears when he thinks of his family and friends.
I will never forget the look in his eyes, full of tears, or his voice breaking, when he said to me (Kelly) "Islam cannot wash away my sins! Only Jesus can do this!"
Abrahim wants to start a house church, and reach Muslims, his family, friends and his village with the good news of the One who can wash away their sins, Jesus Christ!
We were honored to be able to give Abrahim 10 Bibles for his house church to get started. He is just completing a 2 year program with the School Of Discipleship, where God has us serving.
Please pray for Abrahim: for his protection, his encouragement and faithfulness, and for God to grant him increase!

I Welcomed the Return of the Lord (Audio Essay)
Qingxin, Myanmar
Dec 6, 2017
So, in the weeks that followed I started to search online for information about the work of the last days of Almighty God. Before going online, I prayed to the Lord: “Lord, if Eastern Lightning is indeed the Lord that I have faith in, I beg You to move my heart and let me recognize Your voice.” Without really being aware of it, I clicked on a website and found to my surprise that it was all judgments, attacks, and accusations on Almighty God and His church from the religious community and the CCP. I was very shocked and became scared that I ventured down a dangerous path. So, I sent the link to Brother Zheng and Sister Li Hui and asked them: “How do you explain all this?” I originally thought that Brother Zheng and the others would have no reply to the information that I had sent, and so was surprised when they calmly and firmly replied: “ Almighty God is the real God, the return of the Lord Jesus. The stuff that the religious community and the CCP spread online is all rumors and nonsense designed to confuse people. It’s part of their wicked scheme to prevent people from following God….”
What Brother Zheng said really moved me, and in my heart I began to struggle to make sense of it all. I got offline and prayed to the Lord: “Lord, if Almighty God really is Your return then I beg You to enlighten and illuminate me so that I can understand Your way and not miss the chance to witness Your return. If all that stuff online is just rumors spread by the religious community and the CCP, then make me deaf to it, because being taken by Satan is a terrible thing.” After praying I felt a bit calmer, and then I remembered the times that I too was falsely accused, and also an occasion when a storekeeper I knew who did good business selling jade products had his reputation ruined by rumors spread by a jealous competitor. Some light began to shine in my heart and I realized just how dark and evil this world is and that most of what is online—good or bad—is just people talking. Then I thought carefully about the online accusations about Almighty God and His church spread by the religious community and the CCP: There was no evidence given and none of it seemed very believable. Furthermore, I had read Almighty God’s words and been in touch with the brothers and sisters of The Church of Almighty God. What they said bore no relation to the rumors being spread online, and they hadn’t tried to force me to join their church. In the few months of contact with them, besides exploring the Bible, reading Almighty God’s words, and fellowshiping about God’s words with me, we hadn’t discussed any other topics. From the way they spoke, I could tell that they were pious and upstanding people. Their fellowship was full of light and I felt it was very useful to me, and their church was indeed a church that had the work of the Holy Spirit. Thinking about this, I realized that a church that has the work of the Holy Spirit is a church of God, and so of course Satan would attack and accuse it and there would be a lot of negative propaganda surrounding it.

I Finally Understand the Meaning of the Great White Throne Judgment
By Witri, Indonesia
Editor’s Note: When the great white throne judgment prophesied in the Book of Revelation comes up, many brothers and sisters imagine that the Lord will come in the last days and be sitting on a great white throne, and then determine if people go up to heaven or down to hell based on what they’ve done. But is this how the prophecy will be fulfilled in reality? Witri gained a new understanding of the great white throne judgment through a period of investigation.
In the gathering, the sisters shared fellowship with me about my question. One said, “When God’s judgment in the last days comes up we think of these verses in Revelation: ‘And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works’(Revelation 20:11–12). Based on these verses, we’ve believed that when the Lord returns He will be sitting on a great white throne and judge us one by one according to what we’ve done over our lifetimes. We think that this is how He’ll determine whether we go up to heaven or down to hell. But have we thought about whether this understanding is in line with God’s will? Would the Lord work according to our own thinking? In fact, if we give it careful thought, we can easily see that the great white throne in the Book of Revelation is nothing more than a vision John saw on Patmos Island and is not a fact of God’s work. We cannot interpret the meaning of this prophecy based on notions and imaginings because it says in the Bible, ‘Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit’ (2 Peter 1:20–21). Prophecies come from God and we have to maintain a heart of reverence for God in our approach to the prophecies, not interpret them at will based on their literal meanings. Think back to the Age of Law of the Old Testament—the Pharisees of the time thought, based on the literal meaning of Scripture, that the Messiah would be born in a palace and hold official power. But the exact opposite was true; the Lord Jesus wasn’t born in a palace but in a manger. He was the son of a poor carpenter and He certainly didn’t hold any kind of official power. Because of the gap between the facts of the Lord’s coming and what people imagined, the Pharisees stubbornly clung to their notions and wouldn’t acknowledge that the Lord Jesus was the coming of the Messiah. They refused to accept the truths that He spoke and they nailed Him to the cross, committing a grievous sin. So we should learn this lesson from history and not rely on our notions and imaginings for our understanding of prophecies.”

it's impossible for man to duplicate what is truly spiritual. That is the work of the Holy Spirit alone. And without the power of the Holy Spirit, it is dead religion.
No person or institution has the power to produce spirituality in someone... Only the Holy Spirit does that.
The Spirituality That the Holy Spirit Produces Is a Deep, Unseen Work in the Heart.
Very little of the work God's Spirit does in us can be seen. This is why truly spiritual people rarely look for outward evidence of his work. Paul says, "We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen"
(2 Corinthians 4:18).
Those who submit to the leading of God's Spirit - who face their afflictions confident that the Lord is producing something in them - emerge from their crucible with strong faith. And they testify that the Spirit taught them more during their suffering than when all was well in their lives.
Paul understood that in everything he endured, the Holy Spirit was teaching him things he couldn't learn any other way. He wrote, "I Paul...now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake...to fulfill the word of God" (Colossians 1:23-25).
We Find True Spirituality Not by Changing Our Circumstances, But by Remaining in the Midst of Our Present Situation.
You'll never get true spirituality from someone or something else. If you're going to taste God's glory, it's going to have to come to you right where you are - in your present circumstances, pleasant or unpleasant. God isn't going to change your situation until he has accomplished his eternal purpose in you.
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/on-quieting-your-heart-before-go...
Pondering the words of God and praying over the words of God at the same time as eating and drinking the actual words of God—this is the first step to being at peace before God. If you can be truly at peace before God, then the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit will be with you.
All spiritual life is achieved by relying on being quiet before God. In praying you must be quiet before God before you can be moved by the Holy Spirit. By being quiet before God when you eat and drink God’s words you can be enlightened and illuminated and be able to achieve truly understanding God’s words. In your usual meditation and fellowship, and when you are drawing close to God with your heart, only when you are quiet before God can you have genuine closeness to God, genuine understanding of God’s love and God’s work, and true thoughtfulness toward God’s intentions. The more you are usually able to be quiet before God the more you can be illuminated, and the more you are able to understand your own corrupt disposition, what you lack, what you should enter, what function you should serve, and where you have defects. All these are achieved by relying on being quiet before God. If you truly reach some depth in being quiet before God, you can touch some mysteries in the spirit, touch on what God at present wants to do on you, touch on deeper understanding of God’s words, and touch on the essence of God’s words, on the substance of God’s words, on the being of God’s words, and you can see the path of practice more thoroughly and more accurately. If you cannot be quiet in your spirit to a certain depth, you will just be somewhat moved by the Holy Spirit, inside you will feel strength, and some enjoyment and peace, but you will not touch anything deeper. I have said before, if one does not use all their strength, it will be difficult for them to hear My voice or see My face. This refers to achieving depth in being quiet before God, not to external effort. A person who can truly be quiet before God is able to free themselves from all worldly ties and can achieve being occupied by God. All people who are unable to be quiet before God are assuredly dissolute and unrestrained. All who are able to be quiet before God are people who are pious before God, people who yearn for God. It is only people who are quiet before God who pay attention to life, pay attention to fellowship in spirit, who thirst for God’s words, and who pursue the truth. All those who pay no attention to being quiet before God, who do not practice being quiet before God are vain people who are completely attached to the world, who are without life; even if they say they believe in God they are just paying lip-service. Those God ultimately perfects and completes are people who can be quiet before God. Therefore, people who are quiet before God are people graced with great blessings. People who during the day take little time to eat and drink God’s words, who are completely preoccupied with external affairs, and do not pay attention to life entry are all hypocrites with no prospect of developing in the future. It is those who can be quiet before God and genuinely commune with God who are God’s people.
from "On Quieting Your Heart Before God"
www.cagnz.org/grow-closer-to-God-by-reading-the-bible.html
How to Grow Closer to God by Reading the Bible? Here Are 3 Principles
Grow Closer to God by Reading the Bible
1. Quiet our hearts before God.
God’s words say, “Quieting your heart before God is one of the most crucial steps for entering into God’s words…. Only after they are able to be at peace before God can people be touched by the Holy Spirit, and enlightened and illuminated by the Holy Spirit, only then are they able to truly commune with God, and able to grasp God’s will and the guidance of the Holy Spirit….” We can see from God’s words that if we want to gain God’s enlightenment and illumination in reading the Bible, the most fundamental thing is to keep our hearts at peace before God. As a matter of fact, the reason why many times we have no illumination while reading the Bible is because our hearts are possessed by lots of things. For example, when we are reading the Bible, our hearts are still thinking about family or work, which causes us to be unable to quiet our hearts, so we cannot be touched or enlightened by God. So, before we read the Bible, we’d better put aside the people, things, and matters that disturb our minds, pray to God, and quiet our hearts before Him. Reading the Bible in this way makes it easy to receive God’s guidance and leadership.
2. Choose appropriate scriptures in connection with our difficulties and problems.
Many Christians have fallen into a pitfall: When reading the Bible, they read the passages one by one in sequence, or they just flick through the Bible and read what they see. As a result, they cannot achieve a good outcome. Just as when a patient needs treatment, he should not take whatever kind of pills he wants, but instead, he should know his disease and then take the proper medication for it; only in this way can he get well. Reading the Bible should be done in the same way. We should read appropriate scriptures according to our practical problems, and this is the only way to achieve results. For example, if we have no patience or tolerance for our family in daily life and often have a temper tantrum, then we can read scriptures pertaining to how people can treat others with love, patience and tolerance; if we encounter persecution and slander and become weak in the process of spreading the gospel, then we should read scriptures relating to how to care for God’s will and how to have faith in God. Only in this manner can we practically solve our problems and gain a closer relationship with the Lord.
3. Do not read more than you can digest but pay attention to pondering.
Often times we think that those who read the Bible over many times and know it by heart can please God, and we even envy those who learn much about it. This causes us to focus on how many pieces we read or to memorize famous chapters and verses when reading the scriptures. But, if we ponder carefully, we will find that, the more we pay attention to this, the more estranged the relationship between us and God becomes, and the more we realize that aside from memorizing these scriptures, we still have not obtained real spiritual nourishment. In reality, we all know that we cannot understand the inner meaning of the scriptures from a literal perspective, and that only by pondering them and obtaining the enlightenment and guidance of the Holy Spirit can we understand their true meaning. If we are merely concerned with the words of the Bible but do not ponder their true meaning, then they are only doctrines for us regardless of how many we read them. And if we use them to flaunt ourselves, then it will make God detest us.
Recalling two thousand years ago, the Pharisees were familiar with the Scripture, and even wrote scriptures on the tassels of their garments, but they only used them to show off, and absolutely did not implement them into their actual practice. When the Lord Jesus came to do His work, they saw that the Lord Jesus’ words had authority and power and were not something that an ordinary person could say. However, not only did they not have a sliver of a seeking heart, but they even condemned the Lord Jesus based on the literal meaning of the Bible and joined forces with the Roman government to crucify Him. It can be seen that no matter how much we read and memorize the scriptures, it cannot bring us real benefits, and that only by pondering over the scriptures can we know their inner meaning, thereby knowing God and being unlikely to do things that resist God. Just as 2 Corinthians 3:6 says, “For the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.”

Not so long ago, the main road from Dover to Sandwich passed right through the centre of Easty. Its narrow roads lined with parked cars must have been quite a bottle neck. But now the main road goes round and the cars can park was their owners want.
I visited Eastry many years ago, early in the Kent church project. So I am revisiting those first churches to see what I missed now I have a little knowledge of church architecture.
We park in the centre on the main road and walk down the dead end street to the church. It looks fine in the spring sunshine, flints glistening. It sits surrounded by gfand houses, most of which are listed.
Entrance is via a unique porch in the west end of the church, under the tower, where a porch has been fashioned from carved wood and leaded lights.
Upon entering you are greeted by the glory of the church, the chancel arch festooned with panels showing four different designs, but my eye is taken by the two quatrefoil cut outs either side.
-------------------------------------------
Set away from the main street but on one of the earliest sites in the village, flint-built Eastry church has an over restored appearance externally but this gives way to a noteworthy interior. Built in the early thirteenth century by its patrons, Christ Church Canterbury, it was always designed to be a statement of both faith and power. The nave has a clerestory above round piers whilst the east nave wall has a pair of quatrefoils pierced through into the chancel. However this feature pales into insignificance when one sees what stands between them - a square panel containing 35 round paintings in medallions. There are four deigns including the Lily for Our Lady; a dove; Lion; Griffin. They would have formed a backdrop to the Rood which would have been supported on a beam the corbels of which survive below the paintings. On the centre pier of the south aisle is a very rare feature - a beautifully inscribed perpetual calendar or `Dominical Circle` to help find the Dominical letter of the year. Dating from the fourteenth century it divides the calendar into a sequence of 28 years. The reredos is an alabaster structure dating from the Edwardian period - a rather out of place object in a church of this form, but a good piece of work in its own right. On the west wall is a good early 19th century Royal Arms with hatchments on either side and there are many good monuments both ledger slabs and hanging tablets. Of the latter the finest commemorates John Harvey who died in 1794. It shows his ship the Brunswick fighting with all guns blazing with the French ship the Vengeur. John Bacon carved the Elder this detailed piece of work.
www.kentchurches.info/church.asp?p=Eastry
------------------------------------------
Above the Chancel Arch, enclosed within a rectangular frame, are rows of seven "medallion" wall paintings; the lower group was discovered in 1857 and the rest in 1903. They remained in a rather dilapidated state until the Canterbury Cathedral Wall Paintings Department brought them back to life.
The medallions are evidently of the 13th Century, having been painted while the mortar was still wet. Each medallion contains one of four motifs:
The trefoil flower, pictured left, is perhaps a symbol of the Blessed Virgin Mary to whom the church is dedicated; or symbolic of Christ.
The lion; symbolic of the Resurrection
Doves, either singly, or in pairs, represent the Holy Spirit
The Griffin represents evil, over which victory is won by the power of the Resurrection and the courage of the Christian.

ROMA ARCHEOLOGICA & RESTAURO ARCHITETTURA 2024. ROME - Inauguration of Piazza Pia: A Pedestrian Haven Linking Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's; in: IL MESSAGGERO / ENGLISH (23/12/2024).
ROME - A pedestrian square that, among trees, seating, and fountains, unites Castel Sant'Angelo and St. Peter's in a single perspective, eliminating the river of cars in front of Via della Conciliazione, thanks to the extension of the already existing underpass of Lungotevere in Sassia.
What Changes
After 450 days of work and an investment of 85.3 million, Piazza Pia, the symbolic work of the Jubilee, was inaugurated. At the ribbon-cutting were Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri, Monsignor Rino Fisichella, the Pope's delegate for the Jubilee, the Minister of Infrastructure Matteo Salvini, the Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and the President of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca.
Also present were Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano, the CEO of Anas Aldo Isi, and the President of Anas Edoardo Valente. Despite the excellent archaeological finds, from the Roman fullonica to Caligula's portico, the works were completed in time for the opening of the Holy Door tomorrow at St. Peter's.
A Small Miracle
"In a few hours, the Holy Father will begin the Jubilee, and Rome will open its doors to millions of pilgrims. We have all worked hard and well to ensure that the city meets expectations," and "today we are able to inaugurate Piazza Pia, thanks to those who worked, from Anas to Fs to the workers, but also to a method we inaugurated with the control room at Palazzo Chigi for which I thank Undersecretary Mantovano. It can be defined as a small civil miracle, the Jubilee method that can remind us that in Italy things can be done well and quickly," said Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Piazza Pia and the extension of the vehicular underpass of Lungotevere in Sassia in Rome. "A project of over 85 million euros to make traffic more fluid and to have a large pedestrian space that can host up to 150,000 people here - she added -, done with a spirit of collaboration that I also want to remember today.
The New Road
Thanks to the extension of an already existing road axis, the road platform has maintained the same geometric characteristics as the existing work: a carriageway consisting of three lanes, two with a width of three meters and one with a width of 3.5 meters. There will be two service pedestrian crossings of different widths, the left one 50 centimeters and the right one 100 centimeters. In the center of the square, two fountains have been placed to create two water mirrors capable of reflecting the sky. The creation of green spaces with valuable tree species is planned, which, in addition to enhancing the work, will mitigate the "heat island" effect. The area affected by the new underpass is home to several "subservices," among which the presence of two primary city collectors stands out: the Basso Farnesina and the Basso di Destra. They come from the North, pass under two arches of the "Passetto" - the arched passage in masonry that connects the Vatican to Castel Sant'Angelo - and, crossing Piazza Pia, join just before the entrance of the existing underpass, creating a new and unique collector. The new underpass was made with a "phased" process that ensured the maintenance of the sewer system during the works. Initially, the phases provided for a sewer bypass dug between diaphragms adjacent to the existing collector, which, once put into operation, allowed the demolition of the original collector and the completion of the underpass structures.

The Finds Discovered During the Excavations
At the end of June 2024, the construction site experienced a crucial moment for the discovery of significant archaeological finds covering a vast area falling right in the access ramp to the new underpass. Thanks to an emergency archaeology intervention and the work of the Superintendency, it was possible to secure everything and resume the excavations. The finds will be exhibited in the gardens of Castel Sant'Angelo. The excavation returned an important series of Campana Slabs, figured terracottas used for roof decoration, with unusual mythological scenes, reused as covers for the fullonica's sewers, but originally probably made for the covering of some garden structure, perhaps the same portico. With a synergy that proved fundamental among all the entities involved, last July the diaphragm was demolished and, subsequently, the connection of the new underpass with the existing one was made. Finally, the excavation activities were completed to bring the underpass level to the floor and the bottom slab was made. Given the particular context, highly urbanized and characterized by the presence of historical buildings and valuable archaeological value, the "cut and cover" or "top down" technique was chosen, which allowed work to be carried out simultaneously on the surface and inside the underpass, thus allowing an acceleration of the completion times of the work, which was completed in just 450 days thanks to 110 professionals working 24 hours a day, in three work shifts.

I cannot fathom God's whole design, for the sake of which the universe exists and lives ; but the Divine work which is being accomplished in this world and in which I participate by living is comprehensible to me.
This work is the annihilation of discord and strife among men and among all creatures, and the establishment of the highest unity and concord and love.
It is the fulfillment of the promises of the Hebrew prophet who foretold a time when all men should be taught by truth, when spears should be turned into reaping-hooks, swords be beaten to ploughshares, and the lion lie down with the lamb. So that a man of Christian intelligence not only knows what he has to do, but he also understands the work he is doing.
He has to act so as to co-operate towards the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth. For this a man must obey his intuition of God's will, i.e., must act lovingly towards others, as he would that others should act towards him.

"God’s Name Will Be Magnified Among the Gentile Nations"
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/hymn-god-name/

By Margaret Agnes Rope between 1912 and 1918. The comprehensive text accompanying each window is from the Arthur Rope website, section “Marga's work” and written by Roger Hall from 2021 to 2022. I haven't included a link as the website is listed as “not secure” so I thought it safer instead to just show the text.
The photo filesize is big enough for you to zoom in and see all the detail. But because Roger Hall's descriptions are so comprehensive, it's best to use a computer to view the window and the text in two separate windows. Margaret Rope always had a reason for almost everything she depicted in her windows. And Roger Hall did a splendid job interpreting and explaining it!
“... Nicholas is patron saint of the town of Newport and the medieval Anglican parish church is dedicated to him. He was bishop of Myra, a seaport in Asia Minor (now Turkey), in the 4th century.
This window, the rearmost of the four in the wall to your right as you face the altar, shows him in his episcopal vestments, holding a processional crucifix in his left hand and with his right hand raised in blessing. Bishops are usually shown holding a crozier - a pastoral staff shaped like a shepherd’s crook - rather than a crucifix. The crucifix, with its image of Christ, may be a reference to Nicholas’s vigorous defence of Christ’s divinity and equality with God the Father at the Council of Nicaea, a gathering of bishops held in the year 325 at which the priest Arius of Alexandria asserted that Christ was created by God the Father and so was subordinate to him. It is said that Nicholas became so incensed by this assertion that he slapped Arius across the face. The Council decided that Arius’s views were heretical and that the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit were one God, co-equal and co-eternal and a statement to this effect was incorporated in the Nicene Creed, the profession of faith which is still recited by Catholics every Sunday at Mass.
Nicholas came from a wealthy family but gave away his inheritance to the poor. One legend relates how he learned of a neighbour who had fallen on hard times and could afford neither to maintain his three daughters nor to provide them with marriage dowries. They were considering selling themselves into slavery, or even prostitution, to survive. Nicholas took a bag of gold and one night secretly put it through a window of the neighbour’s house. When the neighbour discovered the gold, which had landed in a stocking hung up to dry, he was overjoyed and used it as a dowry for his eldest daughter, and she was married. Another bag of gold followed, and the second daughter was married. To discover the source of such generosity the neighbour hid outside his house and kept watch on the window until he saw Nicholas putting in a third bag of gold for the third daughter. This moment is shown in a background scene just above the bishop’s head. The neighbour is hiding behind a bush. He must have been formerly quite wealthy himself, as his house looks like a castle!
The three bags of gold are the origin of St Nicholas’s attribute of three golden balls. There should be three balls at his feet but one has unfortunately disappeared during ‘restoration’. Higher up in the far background is a depiction of the town of Myra. You can see the domes of the Byzantine cathedral. The town’s defensive walls have partially collapsed. This happened some 700 years after Nicholas’s death when Myra was besieged and captured by the Turks. The tall tower behind the cathedral is a Turkish minaret. The cathedral contained Nicholas’s tomb and in the year 1087 three merchant ships put in at Myra en route from Antioch to their home port of Bari, Italy when the merchants opened the tomb and took away the saint’s remains. Here the three ships are leaving Myra, and on the deck of one of them is a chest containing the remains, which are radiating a holy aura. The Basilica di San Nicola was built in Bari to house these relics, and it is still an important pilgrimage destination.
Behind the saint is a forest of spruce, Christmas trees, reminding us of his close links with the Christmas season (St Nicholas = Santa Claus). There is also an English oak. He is the patron saint of more than 400 churches in this country. If you look carefully in the forest you will see a rabbit, several squirrels and a pigeon. Between the main image and the scene below, in shields, are the three golden balls, the arms of St Nicholas, and three fishes, the arms of the town of Newport. Nicholas is the patron saint of children. The scene near the foot of the window shows children at play and some of their toys. A sailor-suited boy is crying because a wheel has come off his toy train and a girl, maybe his sister, is praying to St Nicholas for him. There are a number of small pictures around the border of the window. On the right is one showing three boys emerging from a tub. This is a reference to a legend that three boys were murdered by a wicked innkeeper who then put their bodies in a tub of brine to pickle them. Nicholas intervened and brought them back to life. Opposite is a scene on board ship. Nicholas was on a voyage to the Holy Land when a storm blew up and the ship was in danger of foundering. The sailors begged him to help them, he raised his hand in prayer and the storm subsided. For this reason he is the patron saint of seafarers, hence one of the other border pictures is of a sailing ship and two are of anchors.
There are also pictures of Christmas trees with candles and at the very bottom, Christmas stockings. Stockings used to be hung up on St Nicholas’ Day, 6th December, rather than at Christmas. They were a reminder of the legend of the three daughters and three bags of gold (see above). The small gifts put into them would have included an orange representing a golden ball. At the head and the foot of the main scene is the inscription SAINT NICHOLAS PRAY FOR US. The inscription at the foot of the window reads ERECTED FOR THE JUBILEE OF A PRIEST OF THIS CHURCH + PRAY FOR HIM & FOR THE DONORS. The parish priest of Newport from 1902 until his death aged 71 in 1922 was Fr Chichele Giles. He was ordained priest in 1887, so his jubilee (25th anniversary of ordination) would have been in 1912. His obituary in The Tablet described him thus: ‘A man of constant action and enthusiasm, his zeal for the faith in Newport found expression not only in the care and beautifying of the church of SS Peter and Paul, but also in special services and lectures from time to time, some of them out-of-doors, in order that Catholic teaching might be made more widely known. He will be greatly missed in the town with which he had been so long associated, and by a host of friends in many parts of England.’ An essential part of Fr Giles’ priestly ministry would have been the celebration of the Liturgy of the Eucharist during which bread and wine are, Catholics believe, transformed at the moment of consecration into the Body and Blood of Christ.
At the head of the window are the consecrated host (wafer of bread) and chalice of wine, and below are the wheat sheaves and the grapevine from which they have been made. The window was unveiled and blessed ‘just before Mass’ on Sunday 8th December 1912, the first Sunday after the Feast of St Nicholas, ‘by the Rev. Dr. Hazlehurst’. It had been paid for by ‘a number of friends’ of Fr Giles.....”
The Catholic church of Saints Peter and Paul is in the oldest Catholic parish in Shropshire. It is situated just off the town centre of Newport in Shropshire. Its orientation of north-east to south-west is unusual with the entrance at the north-east end and the sanctuary and altar at the south-west. It's a bit confusing then when you read descriptions of the church with the windows being on the 'south wall' and the altar being at the 'east' end of the building. The texts are obviously sticking to liturgical / ecclesiastical orientation and standardised convention even if it causes great confusion to someone like me who tries to link what I read to what I see!
The church is well known for its collection of stained glass windows by Margaret Rope depicting Saints Peter and Paul, St Winefride and ‘Help for Christians’, made between 1912 and 1918. The texts refer to their positions as being on the “south elevation” - but it's actually the north-west wall. The descriptions accompanying the windows are by Roger Hall from the Arthur Rope website.
Otherwise, the information above is from the internet and mostly from the churches own website.
The Catholic church of Saints Peter and Paul is an active church with mass being held most days of the week. It became a parish in 1650 when it was connected with the Catholic Talbot family at Longford Hall. When Longford Hall was sold in 1789, the priest was provided with another residence by the Earl of Shrewsbury—Salters Hall, named after Judge Salter, who was high sheriff of Shropshire. It now covers a wide area around Newport, going as far north as Hinstock, on the A41 towards Tern Hill. For more information and details of mass times, please see

How to Attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
By Yan Jin
How can we welcome the coming of the Lord? This is a big question for us believers in God. In the last days, whether we can enter the kingdom of heaven depends on whether we can welcome the Lord’s return and attend the marriage banquet of the Lamb. In order to welcome the Lord’s return, we often watch and wait, but do we know how to watch and wait to meet the Lord? I believe the three points below can show us the way...
The Lord Jesus said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). From the words of the Lord, we can know that what the Lord means is that as long as someone outside says “the Bridegroom comes,” we should take the initiative to seek and investigate. In this way, we are truly watching and waiting. Some people think that if they only uphold the name of the Lord, often pray and read the Bible and work hard for the Lord, then they are watching and waiting. But in fact, this is waiting for the Lord blindly and passively and not seeking actively. Consequently, when someone preaches that the Lord has returned, they will not take the initiative to seek and investigate, thus missing the opportunity to welcome the Lord’s return. So we should be wise virgins: When hearing someone outside says “the Bridegroom comes,” we should take the initiative to seek and investigate, which is in line with the will of the Lord. For those who welcomed the coming of the Messiah, like Peter, John, Nathanael and others, they met the Lord by seeking, investigating, and gaining the enlightenment and illumination of the Holy Spirit. When the disciple Peter heard his brother Andrew say, “We have found the Messias” (John 1:41), he could follow Andrew to see the Lord Jesus, and finally followed the Lord Jesus and received the Lord’s salvation. So when someone testifies the Lord has returned to speak and do work, it is vital for us to seek and investigate actively.
3. We should pay attention to seeking the voice of God.
In regard to this aspect, there are many prophecies in Revelation, like “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:7). The Lord Jesus also clearly told us, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come” (John 16:12-13). From the words of God, we can be certain that God will speak more words when He comes back. It is especially important for a wise virgin to seek the voice of God. Just as the Lord Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3: 20). By pondering and investigating the new words of God, we can recognize the words that the Holy Spirit speaks to the churches, which means that God’s sheep hear the voice of God. Therefore, we should pay attention to seeking the voice of God when waiting for the coming of the Lord, otherwise, we can’t recognize Him even if He has come.

The ultimate desire of God when he created man to be like himself was to Receive the Spirit of Revelation and How to Receive the Spirit of Revelation explains how this goal will be achieved. He created man for himself and in his image, THE ULTIMATE desire of God for man is that man should not only possess the spirit of revelation but live in the constant understanding of his word as a way of life.
if you do not understand the bible, you cannot understand God, if you do not understand God, you cannot work with God, you cannot even benefit from God
The ability to see what you are reading is the power to translate information to revelation. i try to explain here some of the buttons you will have to press to arrive at the spirit of revelation
Get the Baptism of the Holy Spirit
this is why Jesus told the disciples to tarry at Jerusalem till the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit is a person, and he is here on earth. On the day of Pentecost, he was arriving the earth from the father, but since after that, he resides here on earth, All you need is to simply pray and ask Him to baptize you.
If you are more serious you can take a fast and pray to e baptized
How to Receive the Spirit of Revelation - Meditation
It comes as a result of in-depth, steady, consistent meditation on the word without any distraction.

Almighty God Says :" Thus, you not only need to be able to become seasoned based upon the foundation of the past, but, moreover, to expel the impurities within you under the guidance of the words of today, allowing each of My words to take root and blossom within your spirits, and more importantly, to bear more fruit. That’s because what I ask for is not bright, lush flowers, but bounteous fruit—fruit, what’s more, that does not go bad. Do you understand the true meaning of My words? Although the flowers in a greenhouse are as innumerable as the stars, and draw all the tourists, once they have wilted, they become as tattered as the deceitful schemes of Satan, and no one shows any interest in them. But for those who have been buffeted by the winds and scorched by the sun and bear testimony to Me, although these flowers are not pretty, once they have withered there comes fruit, for this is My requirement. ... Eastern Lightning Does God Have a Specific Gender? I Discover a New Interpretation (Part 1)
By Bao’en, Brazil
May 24, 2019
Editor’s Note: When it comes to the question, “Does God have a specific gender?” I believe that many Christians will say, “It is clearly recorded in the Bible that when the Lord Jesus was being baptized, a voice from heaven said, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased’ (Matthew 3:17). Also, when the Lord Jesus prayed, He called God in heaven His Father, and surely these words ‘Father’ and ‘Son’ prove that God is male.” Therefore, when we hear someone testifying that the Lord Jesus has returned and that He has incarnated into female form, many brothers and sisters cannot get their heads around it. They believe that the Lord Jesus was clearly male, so how could the second coming of the Lord be as a female? Brother Bao’en of Brazil used to cling to this view too, and it was only when he heard a sermon that he was able to come to a new interpretation on this matter …
I Hear That the Lord Has Returned but I Am Obstructed by Conceptions, and My Spirit Is Darkened
On the sixth day of our online gathering, Brother Xiao said to us, “Brothers and sisters, the Lord Jesus whom we have longed for for so long has returned as the incarnated Almighty God. God does not repeat His work. The first incarnation was a man, and now God has incarnated as a woman, but whether God incarnates as a man or a woman, His essence is always that of God Himself, and the work He performs is always the work of God Himself….” The moment I heard that God had now incarnated as a woman, I thought: “How could that be? It is clearly recorded in the Bible that, when the Lord Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan, the heavens opened and a voice spoke from heaven saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased’ (Matthew 3:17). What’s more, when the Lord Jesus prayed, He called God in heaven His Father. Surely these words ‘Father’ and ‘Son’ refer to God as being male, so how can Brother Xiao say that the Lord has returned in a female incarnation? Moreover, there is no such prophecy in the Bible.” My heart was full of conflict as I thought this, and I wanted to hear no more. On the evening of the day after, Sister Chen asked me to attend another online gathering, but I came up with an excuse to turn her down, and I didn’t attend any more online gatherings.
Afterward, the brothers and sisters continued to send me many messages, asking me to rely on God and seek God in all things, and if I had any difficulty to pray to God in earnest. I was moved by the love that came from God, and I thought: “These brothers and sisters and I only know each other because we all believe in God. Even though I’ve been deliberately ignoring them, they are still so loving, and who could be like this without the work of the Holy Spirit? What’s more, if Almighty God truly is the Lord Jesus returned, will I not be abandoned by God if I continue to reject Him and not seek Him?” I thought of the time I had been in contact with my brothers and sisters. The sermons they gave all tallied with the Lord’s words, they were all illuminating and were very beneficial to my life, and I felt clearly the work of the Holy Spirit whenever I attended gatherings with them. The Lord Jesus teaches us: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3), and “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). The Lord Jesus asks that we seek with open hearts, for only people who do that can obtain the enlightenment and guidance of God and be blessed by God. And yet I had avoided my brothers and sisters simply because I couldn’t get my head around this one issue of God’s gender—was I not being too rigid? As I pondered these things, I felt remorse and self-reproach, and I decided to continue to seek and investigate Almighty God’s work of the last days.

4 Points to Keep a Normal Relationship With God
By Jin Qiu
Brothers and Sisters of Our Daily Devotionals:
I’m a Christian. Since I believed in the Lord, I have been enjoying the Lord’s grace and blessings, but recently I couldn’t feel the Lord’s presence. I didn’t feel enlightened when reading the Bible nor moved through prayer. When encountering things, I couldn’t act according to the Lord’s words. Losing my former faith and love, I felt confused and worried. What should I do to resolve my problem?
Sincerely yours,
Zhao Xun
Brother Zhao Xun:
I understand how you feel. I had the same problem as you in the past. Later, through reading some spiritual books, I gained some light and enlightenment and understood some things. Your situation is the consequence of your losing the work of the Holy Spirit. If you want to recover the work of the Holy Spirit, you must establish a proper relationship with God. There are four ways for you to achieve that.
First, Practice quieting our heart before God.
The Lord Jesus said: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). From this verse, we know that if we want to establish a normal relationship with God, we should pray to God with a sincere heart, speaking words within the heart. When we honestly tell our actual condition and practical difficulties to God and reflect on ourselves before Him, we could be moved by the Holy Spirit and cause genuine remorse. In this way, we could quiet down before God. For example, you pray, “Oh God! I see many brothers and sisters sincerely expending themselves for You. But my stature is too small. I have so much baggage—my job, family, and future—that I cannot expend myself for You. I don’t know how to let go of my baggage. May You enlighten me and enable me to understand Your will and requirements. May You give me faith and strength so that I can obey Your orchestration and arrangement.” When you pray in this way, you are quiet before God. As God sees you pray honestly, the Holy Spirit would work in you, and then you will establish a normal relationship with God. But if we don’t open our heart to God when kneeling in prayer, but just say a few words carelessly and perfunctorily, even if we seem quite reverent from the outside, this is not being quiet before God and such prayer can’t be accepted by God. Besides, if we bring our demands and desires to make an exchange into prayers, saying unreasonable words, such prayers are not offered with a quiet heart before God and couldn’t be accepted by God.

It's ordained.
from “What Do You Know of Faith?” in The Word Appears in the Flesh
Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God, the second coming of the Lord Jesus, Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God's work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

Devotional Life: 3 Ways to Get a Fresh Start With God
By Xun Qiu
Every Christian knows that believing in God requires a normal spiritual life, namely spiritual devotion. It is the foundation of establishing a proper relationship with God and the way of practice that is absolutely necessary in the growth of our spiritual life. So, do you need a fresh start? How can you get a fresh start with God in your devotional times? Read this article to grasp the following 3 ways.
Devotional life: 3 ways to get a fresh start with God
1. Focus on quieting our hearts before God in personal devotional times.
We should focus on quieting our hearts before God in our spiritual devotions, which is the precondition for obtaining the work of the Holy Spirit. Many of us can regularly practice spiritual devotion every day but we often can’t quiet our hearts during that time, for sometimes we are preoccupied with some family matters or work stuff, or are anxious to deal with these problems quickly. As a result, our spiritual devotions are just abiding by a rule, because our bodies are here while our hearts are elsewhere. The Lord Jesus said, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). This is God’s requirement of us. Obtaining the work of the Holy Spirit and achieving good results in spiritual devotions require worshiping God with an honest heart. During our spiritual devotions, if we are distracted by outward matters, such as our work or lives, and thus we go through the motions and wait for the end of spiritual devotions, then we can only understand the literal meaning of God’s words and gain no enlightenment. In this case, after spiritual devotions, we won’t feel enriched at all. Spiritual devotions like this won’t produce any results.
God’s words say, “Every one of you must take time away from every person, matter, and object for your personal spiritual devotionals, where you will be able to bring peace to your heart and quiet yourself before God. You should have your own individual devotional notes where you can record your knowledge of God’s word and how your spirit has been moved, regardless of whether what you write down is profound or superficial. Quiet your heart before God with intention. If you can dedicate one or two hours to a true spiritual life during the day, then your life that day will feel enriched and your heart will be bright and clear. If you live this kind of spiritual life on a daily basis, then you will be able to give your heart to God more and more, your spirit will become stronger and stronger, your condition will become better and better, you will become more capable of walking the path led by the Holy Spirit, and God will bestow more and more blessings upon you.” From these words we know that if we want to achieve good results in spiritual devotions and gain the work of the Holy Spirit, we should spend one or two hours a day in practicing putting away family or work matters with intention, quieting our hearts before God and praying for Him to lead us to understand His words in a quiet place. Only in this way can we be able to pour our whole hearts into God’s words. When God sees our hearts of seeking the truth, He will enlighten and guide us. This way, not only will we be able to have some understanding of God’s will, we will also come to know our own shortcomings and deficiencies. In addition, we should take our devotional notes every day, recording at any time how our spirits have been enlightened, so that we can read and ponder over these notes at ordinary times. By practicing quieting our hearts before God like this every day, we will be spiritually keen and be able to seek God more when encountering matters. This being so, we will grow closer and closer to God and our life will grow quickly.

The Life To Know Him
"…tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high." [Luke 24:49]
The disciples had to tarry, staying in Jerusalem until the day of Pentecost, not only for their own preparation but because they had to wait until the Lord was actually glorified. And as soon as He was glorified, what happened? “Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear” (Act.2:33). The statement in John — “…for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified?” (Jhn.7:39)— does not pertain to us. The Holy Spirit has been given; the Lord is glorified— our waiting is not dependent on the providence of God, but on our own spiritual fitness. The Holy Spirit’s influence and power were at work before Pentecost, but He was not here. Once our Lord was glorified in His ascension, the Holy Spirit came into the world, and He has been here ever since. We have to receive the revealed truth that He is here. The attitude of receiving and welcoming the Holy Spirit into our lives is to be the continual attitude of a believer. When we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive reviving life from our ascended Lord. It is not the baptism of the Holy Spirit that changes people, but the power of the ascended Christ coming into their lives through the Holy Spirit. We all too often separate things that the New Testament never separates. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not an experience apart from Jesus Christ— it is the evidence of the ascended Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit does not make you think of time or eternity— it is one amazing glorious now. “This is eternal life, that they may know You…” (Jhn.17:3). Begin to know Him now, and never finish. Hallelujah, amen ... God bless

Studying Eastern Lightning and Welcoming the Return of the Lord (Part 1)
By Jianchi, Taiwan
Apr 10, 2019
At every meeting, brothers and sisters from The Church of Almighty God gave such novel and clear fellowship, and their fellowships were enlightened by the Holy Spirit. They enabled me to understand many truths I had not understood over many years of belief in the Lord, such as the mystery of God’s six-thousand-year management plan, the significance of God’s three stages of work, the mystery of God’s name and so on. At one meeting, the brothers and sisters showed the film The Mystery of Godliness. After watching the film, I understood that the Lord Jesus was the incarnated Christ. But when it spoke about the Lord Jesus returning in the flesh to work and save man, I didn’t quite understand it, and I thought: “The elders used to preach that, after the Lord Jesus resurrected, His spiritual body ascended up to heaven and that, when He returns, He shall appear to all nations on a cloud in the resurrected spiritual body, so how could He possibly appear and work in the flesh?” I therefore voiced my perplexity, and a brother read to me a passage of Almighty God’s words: “If you desire to witness the appearance of God, to follow God’s footsteps, then you must first walk away from your own conceptions. You must not demand that God do this or that, much less should you place Him within your own confines and limit Him to your own conceptions. Instead, you should ask how you are to seek God’s footprints, how you are to accept God’s appearance, and how you are to submit to the new work of God; this is what man should do. Since man is not the truth, and is not possessed of the truth, he should seek, accept, and obey” (“The Appearance of God Has Ushered in a New Age” in The Word Appears in the Flesh). The brother then gave fellowship, saying, “God is the Lord of creation, He is supreme, and no one can fathom His almightiness and wisdom. We human beings are just creations. We must not judge God’s work by our own conceptions and imaginings, and we must not demand that God perform His work according to our own ideas. Instead, no matter how God works or whether or not His work accords with our own notions, we should always seek, accept and obey it—this is the sense of reason a created being should possess. As Isaiah 55:9 says, ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.’ We are just tiny created beings, so how could we possibly fathom God’s work? The Lord Jesus prophesied that He would return in the last days, and whether or not we can welcome the Lord’s return is related to our individual end and destination. We should let go of our conceptions and imaginings and seek God’s new work with humble hearts, for only those who do this are the ones who accept the truth and can obtain the work of the Holy Spirit. Sister, if there is any issue you don’t understand, we can pray, seek and fellowship about the truth together. God will then enlighten and illuminate us so that we can understand His words and come to know His work.” After listening to Almighty God’s words and this brother’s fellowship, I perceived that there was indeed truth to be sought here, and I thought about how God’s work couldn’t possibly be fathomed by any human being. If it so happened that Almighty God was truly the Lord Jesus returned and I didn’t look into it in earnest, wouldn’t I then miss my chance to welcome the Lord’s coming? I decided then and there to let go of my conceptions and continue to investigate this way.

Introduction
"The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Father" (Selected Passage)
Almighty God says, "The incarnate God is called Christ, and Christ is the flesh donned by the Spirit of God. This flesh is unlike any man that is of the flesh. This difference is because Christ is not of flesh and blood but is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both a normal humanity and a complete divinity. His divinity is not possessed by any man. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the flesh, while His divinity carries out the work of God Himself. Be it His humanity or divinity, both submit to the will of the heavenly Father. The substance of Christ is the Spirit, that is, the divinity. Therefore, His substance is that of God Himself; this substance will not interrupt His own work, and He could not possibly do anything that destroys His own work, nor would He ever utter any words that go against His own will. Therefore, the incarnate God would absolutely never do any work that interrupts His own management. This is what all man should understand. The essence of the work of the Holy Spirit is to save man and is for the sake of God’s own management. Similarly, the work of Christ is to save man and is for the sake of God’s will. Given that God becomes flesh, He realizes His substance within His flesh, such that His flesh is sufficient to undertake His work. Therefore, all the work of God’s Spirit is replaced by the work of Christ during the time of incarnation, and at the core of all work throughout the time of incarnation is the work of Christ. It cannot be commingled with work from any other age. And since God becomes flesh, He works in the identity of His flesh; since He comes in the flesh, He then finishes in the flesh the work that He ought to do. Be it the Spirit of God or be it Christ, both are God Himself, and He does the work that He ought to do and performs the ministry that He ought to perform."
"The Substance of Christ Is Obedience to the Will of the Heavenly Father" (Selected Passage)
A director. —You need one. —To offer yourself, to surrender yourself… by obedience. —A director who understands your apostolate, who knows what God wants, who can effectively help to forward the work of the Holy Spirit in your soul, without taking you from your place... filling you with peace, and teaching you how your work can be fruitful.

The source of this point in the Notebook is referred to in the commentary to point 60, earlier. Now it becomes clear why St. Josemaría presented the two parts of the one original paragraph in reverse order. The first part, which became this point, summed up the doctrine presented so far in this chapter: a spiritual director is needed, but it must be a Director who will foster the action of the Holy Spirit, since it is the Holy Spirit who actually guides the soul. (...)
The weight of this point is clearly the relative position of the spiritual director, as a human being, regarding the sovereign action of the Holy Spirit (see point 57 earlier). The director does not impose anything; he "seconds," he follows up, the work of the Holy Spirit. And in this "accompanying" lies his authority and his strength. It is the Spirit who rules souls who allow him to act ("Don't hinder the work of the Paraclete," point 58). The "obedience" referred to in this point is the obedience of faith. (For the long Catholic tradition on this topic, see for example Didache, IV, 1-2 and the Exercises of St Ignatius, 15th note.)

The Power of the Holy Spirit
Scriptures: Luke 24:44-53
The principle we will explore today is basic but so powerful that it determines whether we experience victory in our lives.
You are probably familiar with the book The Little Engine That Could, in which a small engine keeps repeating the words "I think I can." By using sheer willpower, she pulls an entire train over the mountain. That's a nice children's story, but the truth of the Christian life is very different. In the real world, our efforts and determination often fall short. Only by walking in the power of the Holy Spirit can the godly life be achieved.
Throughout the Old Testament, God's Spirit would temporarily come upon saints for a particular work. However, after Jesus ascended to heaven, He sent the Spirit to dwell permanently within each believer. Consider what this means: If you're a Christian, God is living inside of you, available to help all through life by providing guidance, comfort, and empowerment.
Obedience to Christ is too difficult for anyone relying on his own strength. And discerning what to do in every situation is far too complicated for a fleshly mind. For some reason, though, Christians often try to live life by depending on their own energy and reasoning. Defeat and failure are unavoidable without His power in our lives.
Do you recognize your need for the Lord? Begin each day confessing your dependence upon Him. Ask to be filled with His Spirit so that all you think, do, and say will be an overflow from Him. Then trust Him to work in mighty ways through you. Watch what almighty God can do.
Dr. Charles Stanley

God Does New Work in Every Age
God's wisdom never changes,
God's wonder never changes,
God's righteousness never changes,
God's majesty never changes.
God's substance never changes,
and what He has and what He is
shall never change.
I
And His work is moving forward
and going deeper;
God is always new and never old.
New name, new work in each age;
a new will and disposition.
If man couldn't see this disposition,
God'd still be nailed to the cross
and would be defined by them!
God's wisdom never changes,
God's wonder never changes,
God's righteousness never changes,
God's majesty never changes.
God's substance never changes,
and what He has and what He is
shall never change.
II
God's work is new and never old,
but who He is never changes.
You can't define
6,000 years of God's work
in static language.
God's not as simple as you think,
His work goes on from age to age.
Changed His name
from Jehovah to Jesus.
See His work
changed through the ages!
God's wisdom never changes,
God's wonder never changes.
God's righteousness never changes,
God's majesty never changes.
God's substance never changes,
and what He has and what He is
shall never change.
III
History is moving forward
and going further.
God's work is always moving
to end the 6,000 year plan.
But there's still new work to do,
each day and each year.
New paths, new times,
bigger work, and new things.
God isn't stuck in old ways;
new work, never ceasing,
always happening.
God's wisdom never changes,
God's wonder never changes.
God's righteousness never changes,
God's majesty never changes.
God's substance never changes,
and what He has and what He is
shall never change.
All the time! (New work!)
Going on! (New work!)
Moving forward (New work!)
Every age! (New work!)
God does His new work!

In this week's chapel we discussed Matthew 5:8 about being pure in heart and as we survey the culture, there is often a lack of purity displayed. Whether its movies, tv shows, and even in the schools and workplaces, oftentimes purity is missing.
_
When we talk about purity, we're referring to being both spiritually pure and keeping one’s life pure in the words we say and in the things we do.
_
No matter how the world acts, we are called to a higher calling and Jesus provides us with another prescription to living a blessed life for Him through Matthew 5:8.
_
Being pure in heart begins and ends with Jesus. He's the one who heals our spiritual heart wound due to sin and helps us be pure in heart through what we say, think, and do. Furthermore, being pure in heart physically through your thoughts, words, and actions is something you have to own and work hard at, but, you’re not alone. God, His Word, and The Holy Spirit are right there with you to help you stay pure.
_
As you begin your new life in Him, His Holy Spirit helps you remain pure in heart as He helps refine you as He progressively sanctifies you by removing the imperfections that stunt your purity in heart and growth.
_
Being pure in heart also involves having a heart that is fully devoted to God. If you love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind…there’s no room for loving sin or to fill up your heart with anything that is detrimental to you.
_
No matter what others say, remember that there is strength in being pure in heart.
_
We are called to be pure in our conduct, pure in speech, pure in morality, pure in attitude, pure in ethics. We're called to strive to be pure in every way possible.
_
So, be one of the blessed ones and strive to keep your heart pure with God's help!

The cross was an act of Love for YOU. Jesus loved you so much he gave is life that YOU might LIVE.
In Adam all died. What is death? Death is separation from God. When Adam and Eve determined they could determine right an wrong without the help of God. Choosing to believe the lie of Satan, that they could become as God. They died that day. They didn't die a physical death that day, they died a spiritual death.
In Adam all died, but in Jesus Christ all can be made alive, through our faith in him. His death for us, taking ALL our sins on himself at the cross, he was buried, and raised to life again on the third day, that ALL who believe in him, can be restored to the same Resurrected Life of Christ Jesus. Through the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT of God, coming to live in man, through FAITH in Jesus and his FINISHED work on the cross, and his resurrected Life.
That's right, through FAITH we can be restored to true humanity, when the same God that created the universe comes to live in us, so he can live his life in and through us. We become all that he is, which is PERFECTION, AND TOTAL ACCEPTANCE OF JESUS, WAS IS GOD IN THE FLESH.
YES ALL THIS IS FOR "YOU", BECAUSE YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD, LIKE YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE. YOU HAVE BEEN MADE PERFECT IN HIS SIGHT, AND FREE FROM ACCUSATION, THIS MY FRIENDS IS THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. BELIEVE AND LIVE FOREVER KNOWING YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR LIFE AND GODLINESS IN HIM.
------------------------ JESUS ✝️ SAVES -------------------------
Grace and Peace to you from God our Father in the Lord Jesus Christ, FOREVER! Through Faith in Jesus!
10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:10)

I wrote in "The Voice", a poem that describes what God has made me to be:
"Bless the voice that speaks words of life
Bless those who listen to the voice and receive life."
May this blessing come true today and every day.
The Dry Salvages is the third poem of T. S. Eliot's Four Quartets, marking the beginning of the point when the series was consciously being shaped as a set of four poems. It was written and published in 1941 during the air-raids on Great Britain, an event that threatened him while giving lectures in the area. The title comes from the name of a marine rock formation off the coast of Cape Ann, Massachusetts, where he spent time at as a child.
The poem discusses the nature of time and what humanity's place is within time. Life is described metaphorically as travelling in a boat and humanity's fixation on science and future gain keeping the travellers from reaching their destination. Within the poem, Eliot invokes the image of Krishna to emphasise the need to follow the divine will, instead of seeking personal gain.
Background
Eliot began working on The Dry Salvages during World War II, at a time when London was experiencing air-raids near the end of 1940. During the time, he moved around often and spent his time writing mostly lectures or tiny poems. However, he was able to find time to work on the third poem that would become part of the Four Quartets: Eliot envisioned that Burnt Norton, East Coker, The Dry Salvages, and a fourth, yet unwritten poem would be united in a set. Eliot wrote the poem quickly and sent the first draft off on 1 January 1941 to John Hayward. After Hayward received the draft, the two began corresponding about edits and alterations to the poem. Geoffrey Faber joined in and then the poem was soon finished. It was published in the February 1941 issue of the New English Weekly.
According to a note by Eliot under the title, "The Dry Salvages—presumably les trois sauvages—is a small group of rocks, with a beacon, off the north east coast of Cape Ann, Massachusetts. Salvages is pronounced to rhyme with assuages." The location is a place that Eliot knew, and the poem links the image of Cape Ann to Eliot's boyhood sailing at Gloucester Harbor. The Dry Salvages also invokes images of the Mississippi River and Eliot's childhood in St Louis. Originally, these images and the other personal references were intended to be discussed in an autobiographical work that was to collect a series of essays about Eliot's childhood.
Poem
The poem is described as a poem of water and hope. It begins with images of the sea, water, and of Eliot's past; this water later becomes a metaphor for life and how humans act. This transitions into an image of a ringing bell and a discussion on time and prayer. Images of men drowning dominate the section before leading into how science and ideas on evolution separate mankind from a proper understanding of the past. The section ends with Krishna stating that the divine will, and not future benefits or rewards, matters. The fourth section is a prayer to the Virgin Mary for fishermen, sailors, and the drowned.
The end of The Dry Salvages starts with a discussion about how people attempt to see the future through various superstitious means. Then the narrator tries to convince the reader that resignation about death is necessary. However, such resignation should be viewed as pushing the self towards redemption and the eternal life in the next world. By acting properly, one would be able to overcome life and move towards the next world.
Themes
The central image of The Dry Salvages is water and the sea. The images are similar to the Odyssey but represent internal aspects. Humanity loses itself to technology and theories like evolution that separate mankind philosophically from the past. According to Eliot, within each man there is a connection to all of mankind. If we just accept drifting upon the sea, then we will end up broken upon rocks. We are restrained by time, but the Annunciation gave mankind hope that he will be able to escape. This hope is not part of the present. What we must do is understand the patterns found within the past to see that there is meaning to be found. This meaning allows one to experience eternity through moments of revelation. Through Christ, we are able to overcome time unless we do not know him. Our corruption can be overcome and that we are able to join the eternal.
Eliot invokes images of original sin and Adam's fall when talking about the past and points out that such events can be forgotten but can still affect mankind. Eliot brings in the image of Krishna to discuss how the past and future are related: Krishna, speaking to Arjuna, claims that death can come at any time and that men should always find the divine will instead of worrying about what their actions will bring. If an individual were to follow Krishna's words then they would be able to free their self from the limitations of time. Even if it cannot be fully attained, the effort in attempting it is still important.[11] The way for mankind to understand the divine will is through prayer and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Many of the images connect back to his earlier works. The images of life as boat adrift with a leak is similar to the "Death by Water" section of The Waste Land. Like images about old age and experience found in East Coker, this image reinforces the need to look at the whole of life and try to see things beyond the limitations of time. Men are supposed to progress, but they aren't supposed to focus on what they can gain in the future. The prayer to the Virgin Mary is intended to help guide the journey which would end with understanding eternity and the Annunciation. It is Mary who will guide the metaphorical sailors to their proper harbour. While connecting back to his earlier works, Eliot also connects back to his family's past; the "Dry Salvages" was part of the landscape his ancestor Andrew Eliot travelled to in 1669.
Sources
Part of The Dry Salvages refers to Eliot's joining the Anglican Church and his personal pursuit of the divine. There are also many references to events and places that Eliot knew as a child. In terms of literary allusions, Eliot brings in Krishna's and Arjuna's discussion from the Bhagavad-Gita on acting according to the divine will along with allusions to Dante's Paradiso, the philosophy of Heraclitus, and the Book of Common Prayer. In regard to these allusions, Eliot would mark up his own editions of the works to note where he used quotes or allusions to lines within his work. In particular, his edition of the Mahabharata included a page added which compared battle scenes with "The Dry Salvages".
Reception
A review in the Times Literary Supplement dated 4 September 1941 stated that there was a "note of quiescence, even of bleak resignation" in the poem and that it "lost that spice of wit which was woven into the logic of the earlier poems". Later, Bernard Bergonzi claimed that "The Dry Salvages is the least satisfactory of the sequence, though at the same time it contains some of its best lines. The opening lines are poor, in a weakly sub-Whitmanesque fashion. Yet the writing suddenly picks up at the words, 'The river is within us,' and from there to the end of the section we have a magnificently sustained sequence". F. B. Pinion believed that "'The Dry Salvages' is a complicated, uneven, and rather prosy poem, in which Eliot continues to say the same thing, with some progression, mainly in maritime imagery". FOUR QUARTETS - T.S. Eliot
THE DRY SALVAGES
(No. 3 of 'Four Quartets')
(The Dry Salvages—presumably les trois sauvages—is a small group of rocks,
with a beacon, off the N.E. coast of Cape Ann, Massachusetts. Salvages is pronounced to rhyme with assuages. Groaner: a whistling buoy.)
I
I do not know much about gods; but I think that the river
Is a strong brown god—sullen, untamed and intractable,
Patient to some degree, at first recognised as a frontier;
Useful, untrustworthy, as a conveyor of commerce;
Then only a problem confronting the builder of bridges.
The problem once solved, the brown god is almost forgotten
By the dwellers in cities—ever, however, implacable.
Keeping his seasons and rages, destroyer, reminder
Of what men choose to forget. Unhonoured, unpropitiated
By worshippers of the machine, but waiting, watching and waiting.
His rhythm was present in the nursery bedroom,
In the rank ailanthus of the April dooryard,
In the smell of grapes on the autumn table,
And the evening circle in the winter gaslight.
The river is within us, the sea is all about us;
The sea is the land's edge also, the granite
Into which it reaches, the beaches where it tosses
Its hints of earlier and other creation:
The starfish, the horseshoe crab, the whale's backbone;
The pools where it offers to our curiosity
The more delicate algae and the sea anemone.
It tosses up our losses, the torn seine,
The shattered lobsterpot, the broken oar
And the gear of foreign dead men. The sea has many voices,
Many gods and many voices.
The salt is on the briar rose,
The fog is in the fir trees.
The sea howl
And the sea yelp, are different voices
Often together heard: the whine in the rigging,
The menace and caress of wave that breaks on water,
The distant rote in the granite teeth,
And the wailing warning from the approaching headland
Are all sea voices, and the heaving groaner
Rounded homewards, and the seagull:
And under the oppression of the silent fog
The tolling bell
Measures time not our time, rung by the unhurried
Ground swell, a time
Older than the time of chronometers, older
Than time counted by anxious worried women
Lying awake, calculating the future,
Trying to unweave, unwind, unravel
And piece together the past and the future,
Between midnight and dawn, when the past is all deception,
The future futureless, before the morning watch
When time stops and time is never ending;
And the ground swell, that is and was from the beginning,
Clangs
The bell.
II
Where is there an end of it, the soundless wailing,
The silent withering of autumn flowers
Dropping their petals and remaining motionless;
Where is there an end to the drifting wreckage,
The prayer of the bone on the beach, the unprayable
Prayer at the calamitous annunciation?
There is no end, but addition: the trailing
Consequence of further days and hours,
While emotion takes to itself the emotionless
Years of living among the breakage
Of what was believed in as the most reliable—
And therefore the fittest for renunciation.
There is the final addition, the failing
Pride or resentment at failing powers,
The unattached devotion which might pass for devotionless,
In a drifting boat with a slow leakage,
The silent listening to the undeniable
Clamour of the bell of the last annunciation.
Where is the end of them, the fishermen sailing
Into the wind's tail, where the fog cowers?
We cannot think of a time that is oceanless
Or of an ocean not littered with wastage
Or of a future that is not liable
Like the past, to have no destination.
We have to think of them as forever bailing,
Setting and hauling, while the North East lowers
Over shallow banks unchanging and erosionless
Or drawing their money, drying sails at dockage;
Not as making a trip that will be unpayable
For a haul that will not bear examination.
There is no end of it, the voiceless wailing,
No end to the withering of withered flowers,
To the movement of pain that is painless and motionless,
To the drift of the sea and the drifting wreckage,
The bone's prayer to Death its God. Only the hardly, barely prayable
Prayer of the one Annunciation.
It seems, as one becomes older,
That the past has another pattern, and ceases to be a mere sequence—
Or even development: the latter a partial fallacy
Encouraged by superficial notions of evolution,
Which becomes, in the popular mind, a means of disowning the past.
The moments of happiness—not the sense of well-being,
Fruition, fulfilment, security or affection,
Or even a very good dinner, but the sudden illumination—
We had the experience but missed the meaning,
And approach to the meaning restores the experience
In a different form, beyond any meaning
We can assign to happiness. I have said before
That the past experience revived in the meaning
Is not the experience of one life only
But of many generations—not forgetting
Something that is probably quite ineffable:
The backward look behind the assurance
Of recorded history, the backward half-look
Over the shoulder, towards the primitive terror.
Now, we come to discover that the moments of agony
(Whether, or not, due to misunderstanding,
Having hoped for the wrong things or dreaded the wrong things,
Is not in question) are likewise permanent
With such permanence as time has. We appreciate this better
In the agony of others, nearly experienced,
Involving ourselves, than in our own.
For our own past is covered by the currents of action,
But the torment of others remains an experience
Unqualified, unworn by subsequent attrition.
People change, and smile: but the agony abides.
Time the destroyer is time the preserver,
Like the river with its cargo of dead negroes, cows and chicken coops,
The bitter apple, and the bite in the apple.
And the ragged rock in the restless waters,
Waves wash over it, fogs conceal it;
On a halcyon day it is merely a monument,
In navigable weather it is always a seamark
To lay a course by: but in the sombre season
Or the sudden fury, is what it always was.
III
I sometimes wonder if that is what Krishna meant—
Among other things—or one way of putting the same thing:
That the future is a faded song, a Royal Rose or a lavender spray
Of wistful regret for those who are not yet here to regret,
Pressed between yellow leaves of a book that has never been opened.
And the way up is the way down, the way forward is the way back.
You cannot face it steadily, but this thing is sure,
That time is no healer: the patient is no longer here.
When the train starts, and the passengers are settled
To fruit, periodicals and business letters
(And those who saw them off have left the platform)
Their faces relax from grief into relief,
To the sleepy rhythm of a hundred hours.
Fare forward, travellers! not escaping from the past
Into different lives, or into any future;
You are not the same people who left that station
Or who will arrive at any terminus,
While the narrowing rails slide together behind you;
And on the deck of the drumming liner
Watching the furrow that widens behind you,
You shall not think 'the past is finished'
Or 'the future is before us'.
At nightfall, in the rigging and the aerial,
Is a voice descanting (though not to the ear,
The murmuring shell of time, and not in any language)
'Fare forward, you who think that you are voyaging;
You are not those who saw the harbour
Receding, or those who will disembark.
Here between the hither and the farther shore
While time is withdrawn, consider the future
And the past with an equal mind.
At the moment which is not of action or inaction
You can receive this: "on whatever sphere of being
The mind of a man may be intent
At the time of death"—that is the one action
(And the time of death is every moment)
Which shall fructify in the lives of others:
And do not think of the fruit of action.
Fare forward.
O voyagers, O seamen,
You who came to port, and you whose bodies
Will suffer the trial and judgement of the sea,
Or whatever event, this is your real destination.'
So Krishna, as when he admonished Arjuna
On the field of battle.
Not fare well,
But fare forward, voyagers.
IV
Lady, whose shrine stands on the promontory,
Pray for all those who are in ships, those
Whose business has to do with fish, and
Those concerned with every lawful traffic
And those who conduct them.
Repeat a prayer also on behalf of
Women who have seen their sons or husbands
Setting forth, and not returning:
Figlia del tuo figlio,
Queen of Heaven.
Also pray for those who were in ships, and
Ended their voyage on the sand, in the sea's lips
Or in the dark throat which will not reject them
Or wherever cannot reach them the sound of the sea bell's
Perpetual angelus.
V
To communicate with Mars, converse with spirits,
To report the behaviour of the sea monster,
Describe the horoscope, haruspicate or scry,
Observe disease in signatures, evoke
Biography from the wrinkles of the palm
And tragedy from fingers; release omens
By sortilege, or tea leaves, riddle the inevitable
With playing cards, fiddle with pentagrams
Or barbituric acids, or dissect
The recurrent image into pre-conscious terrors—
To explore the womb, or tomb, or dreams; all these are usual
Pastimes and drugs, and features of the press:
And always will be, some of them especially
When there is distress of nations and perplexity
Whether on the shores of Asia, or in the Edgware Road.
Men's curiosity searches past and future
And clings to that dimension. But to apprehend
The point of intersection of the timeless
With time, is an occupation for the saint—
No occupation either, but something given
And taken, in a lifetime's death in love,
Ardour and selflessness and self-surrender.
For most of us, there is only the unattended
Moment, the moment in and out of time,
The distraction fit, lost in a shaft of sunlight,
The wild thyme unseen, or the winter lightning
Or the waterfall, or music heard so deeply
That it is not heard at all, but you are the music
While the music lasts. These are only hints and guesses,
Hints followed by guesses; and the rest
Is prayer, observance, discipline, thought and action.
The hint half guessed, the gift half understood, is Incarnation.
Here the impossible union
Of spheres of existence is actual,
Here the past and future
Are conquered, and reconciled,
Where action were otherwise movement
Of that which is only moved
And has in it no source of movement—
Driven by daemonic, chthonic
Powers. And right action is freedom
From past and future also.
For most of us, this is the aim
Never here to be realised;
Who are only undefeated
Because we have gone on trying;
We, content at the last
If our temporal reversion nourish
(Not too far from the yew-tree)
The life of significant soil.

Are you getting this people?
Notice if you will WHAT GOD IS SAYING HERE, by HIS one sacrifice he HAS made PERFECT FOREVER those who are being made holy. This was a FOREVER accomplishment, not something that happens over and over again!
And HE remembers our "SINS", how often? NO MORE! Why, because we HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN FOREVER, IT'S FINISHED, STOP TRYING TO IMPROVE ON WHAT GOD HAS FINISHED!
If we continue to SIN, singular, there is no longer any sacrifice for that sin. What SIN is that? The SIN singular of Unbelief in Jesus FINISHED WORK for us in His death on the cross, His burial, and RESURRECTED LIFE on the third day! If you continue the sin of rejecting the TRUTH OF THE FACT IT'S FINISHED, you are forever LOST!
This is a very SERIOUS thing, not placing FAITH in what Jesus had to die and suffer to provide for us, GOD IN THE FLESH, not some bull or goat. Or the fact some would be priest or minister has taught you how to ask for what you've already been given, assuring your place in Hell Forever!
Now STOP asking for more FORGIVENESS, because there will be NO MORE FORGIVENESS GIVEN! Only the fearful expectation of the raging fires of HELL that will consume the enemies of GOD, if you refuse to believe Jesus when HE SAID, "IT'S FINISHED".
So stop insulting the Spirit of Grace that sanctified YOU, begin GIVING THANKS TO JESUS CHRIST FOR THE FORGIVENESS WE WERE BORNED WITH. DOES ANYBODY ANYMORE KNOW HOW TO GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR WHAT ONLY HE COULD PROVIDE? THANK YOU "JESUS CHRIST" THE ONLY RIGHTEOUS ONE, WHO DID IT ALL FOR ME, BECAUSE I COULD DO "NOTHING" OF MYSELF. THANK YOU JESUS!
CAN YOU HEAR GOD NOW, IS IT PLAN TO YOU NOW? I PRAY IT IS...

Heaven and Seven tonight will explore "The Way and Ways to God."
Many of our members have grown up with Swanage United Reformed Church - some, for several generations.
Others have become church members after no previous experience of church.
The ways each of us comes to God will be very, fascinatingly different. We will look at how God works with Sarah, Abraham, Hagar, Isaiah, Paul, and Mary to prove that there is no single, sure way that God elects to call everyone to Himself. What is right for one will be wholy inappropriate for another.
Thus, instead of putting God's ways in a box, we will be open tonight to the Sovereign freedom of the way the Holy Spirit chooses to work.
From 7pm.
People often ask me about ghosts. Since I spend a lot of time with derelict human history, I'm assumed to have contact with that secret, supernatural side of things. People will point out shapes in windows from my photos, and suggest that they represent a spectral figure. I'm forced to point out that I know better, and it's just a curtain, chair, reflection, or other corporeal explanation. I've received requests from TV programs and podcasts centred around "ghost hunting", and turned them all down. We all want to believe we're not alone, but it's too easy to manipulate feelings of isolation and loneliness for cheap entertainment – and I'm not inclined to encourage those who do so for my own advancement.
If I were willing to play that game, I'd be making the big bucks by now. I've got all the applicable elements already in play, with years of experience as a photographer, and an encyclopedic knowledge of all the creepiest places in my county. It would take just a couple simple changes for me to put on a show. Some well-executed edits could easily convince thousands that I've been regularly encountering the dead on my travels. I could do more of the work with my writing. Maybe I'd start talking about noises I'd heard, unexplained creaks, bumps, or thumps in the shadows. Heck, I could straight up say I'd started hearing voices, and those who didn't declare me insane could be convinced I'd been entertaining spirits.
There are plenty of ethical reasons why I wouldn't engage in that level of manipulation. But beyond the obvious concerns, I'm already wary of the power in suggestibility. When I was growing up with the dramatic spiritualism of my youth – born again, holy roller, filled with the holy spirit, whatever you might call it – I watched countless people succumb to the peer pressure of shared experience. Of course, you could argue that anything they think they felt, they felt indeed. After all, what is the difference in the final result? Nothing immediate, I'd say. Somewhere down the line, however, you might start attributing those moments to a gift or power in the facilitators. Those churches, pastors, or visiting speakers rarely placed adequate concern on what was ghost and what was man. Those discussions were seen as distractions from the moment.
It's been seven years since I last sat through a service, but not a week has passed without a visit to a church. Some sit unlocked, some abandoned, and one I have the keys for. Wherever I wander, I go inside and sit in a state of silence. I've never felt any kind of buzzing or shiver up my spine. Sure, I've got all that glorious sensory input – the smell of old lumber and musty carpet, the warmth of sunlight, the feeling of raw wood on my skin. That impacts my thoughts, and improves my state of mind. If this exact experience was ever followed by a seemingly supernatural occurrence, well, you can be sure I'd talk about it. But I won't presume to describe anything I haven't seen or felt for myself. If that was a criteria most ghost hunter folks followed, I suspect that their twenty-four episode seasons would be shortened to twenty minutes of content.
I've never been interested in telling people what to believe. It's not my job to say that "ghosts aren't real" or to claim that they are by some abstract definition. I'm only good at sharing stories compiled underfoot. You know by now how it goes – one half history, and one half me. I'm driven by the solidness of gravity itself. Hammer of my soles on the floor underneath, solid walls restraining. While I grapple with the intensely abstract nature of emotional expression, all I'm seeking is a way to share it better. I've found it almost impossible to have meaningful revelations vicariously. It's like writing romance novels when both the reader and writer have never been in love. Humans function best with personal context, and I won't provide a context for someone else if I'm missing my own.

It's ordained.
from “What Do You Know of Faith?” in The Word Appears in the Flesh
Eastern Lightning, The Church of Almighty God was created because of the appearance and work of Almighty God, the second coming of the Lord Jesus, Christ of the last days. It is made up of all those who accept Almighty God's work in the last days and are conquered and saved by His words. It was entirely founded by Almighty God personally and is led by Him as the Shepherd. It was definitely not created by a person. Christ is the truth, the way, and the life. God's sheep hear God's voice. As long as you read the words of Almighty God, you will see God has appeared.

Listen to the hymn of God's word
"God’s Name Will Be Magnified Among the Gentile Nations"
www.holyspiritspeaks.org/videos/hymn-god-name/

Utambulisho

Being An Example Of His Message
"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.
Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching."
2 Timothy 4:2
We are not saved only to be instruments for God, but to be His sons and daughters. He does not turn us into spiritual agents but into spiritual messengers, and the message must be a part of us. The Son of God was His own message—“The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). As His disciples, our lives must be a holy example of the reality of our message. Even the natural heart of the unsaved will serve if called upon to do so, but it takes a heart broken by conviction of sin, baptized by the Holy Spirit, and crushed into submission to God’s purpose to make a person’s life a holy example of God’s message. There is a difference between giving a testimony and preaching. A preacher is someone who has received the call of God and is determined to use all his energy to proclaim God’s truth. God takes us beyond our own aspirations and ideas for our lives, and molds and shapes us for His purpose, just as He worked in the disciples’ lives after Pentecost. The purpose of Pentecost itself was not to teach the disciples something, but to make them the incarnation of what they preached so that they would literally become God’s message in the flesh. “. . . you shall be witnesses to Me . . .” (Acts 1:8). Allow God to have complete liberty in your life when you speak. Before God’s message can liberate other people, His liberation must first be real in you. Gather your material carefully, and then allow God to “set your words on fire” for His glory. Lord God Omniscient, give me wisdom this day to worship and work aright and be well-pleasing to You. Lord, interpret Yourself to me more and more in Your fullness and beauty. God bless

Developing Convictions
Scriptures: Jeremiah 17:5-8
An acorn needs nutrients and time to grow into a tall, sturdy oak tree. Likewise, men and women of conviction develop gradually through committed Bible study and prayer. Ready to get planted firmly in biblical truth? Here’s how:
Make a list of issues for which you need to form a conviction. Here are questions to help you get started: Do you consider the Bible true and trustworthy? Do you think that believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved? What is the Holy Spirit’s role in the lives of believers and unbelievers? Are we to forgive others in every situation? How should Christians approach finances? What’s your purpose in life? What is your role in the church and at work? How should you think and act regarding social issues like capital punishment, abortion, and racism?
It is my hope that these questions will open the eyes of those who haven’t contemplated how their personal philosophies have developed. It’s time to change that. Study the Bible and make God’s Word the cornerstone of your thinking. A concordance will point you to scriptures that relate to the above topics. Evaluate what the Bible says rather than looking at an issue through the lens of personal preference. Ask, What does God say? rather than What does this mean to me?
Once you know what God says, you have a choice to make: Believe Him and commit to living according to your conviction, or continue being tossed by waves of doubt and indecision (James 1:6). Root yourself in God’s Word and be called one of His oaks of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3).

Reflection for Today: Learning How to Distinguish the False Way From the True Way, I Welcomed God’s Return
By Xinkao, United States
After that first meeting, Sister Li invited me to come listen to another sermon, but I made an excuse and declined. However, I felt unsettled and conflicted after rejecting her. I thought, “The priests said Eastern Lightning is a false way, but having listened to their sermons, I can’t find anything wrong with what they say. What’s more, Brother Liu spoke reasonably and provided ample evidence to back himself up. God is the Sower of seeds—if He doesn’t harvest from the seeds that He’s sown, His work will have been in vain. Brother Liu also said that the work that Almighty God is doing is the work of harvesting. If this is the true way and I reject it instead of seeking, won’t I have lost God’s salvation in the last days? This won’t do, I must find the answers to my questions!” Having made this resolution, I contacted Sister Li and arranged to go listen to another sermon with her. When I saw Brother Liu, I hurriedly asked him, “Brother, our priests have said that in the last days there are many preaching the false way, and they told us not to listen to the sermons of other denominations, especially Eastern Lightning, lest we be deceived. However, I found what you’ve said to be very illuminating and I’d like to seek once more. How can I be sure that Almighty God’s work in the last days is the true way?”...
As of recently, I’ve already entered into The Church of Almighty God and have become a member of God’s family. I read Almighty God’s word every day and once again feel the bliss of God’s presence and enjoy that feeling of peace and security that came when I first put my faith in God and received the work of the Holy Spirit. Thanks be to Almighty God!
